The webboard just went on-line. Please have a look and post suggestions or examples of your work. Exchange knowledge about
rendering programs and talk to other Trek modellers. Thanks to Arjan Zwikker for programming the board for me.

I added the conversion on the Stardock. It is now available as a 3DS version. Conversion of Mike's other maps is problematic,
since 3DSMax doesn't seem to be able to handle the long file name. 3DS files cannot have long filenames, so MAX2.5 truncates these
filenames. However, it doesn't check for double filenames. For example, if a mesh uses hullcolordiffuse.jpg and hullcolorbump.jpg MAX
will export them as both being hullcolo.jpg, making it impossible to turn out ok in any 3DS program. If anyone has a good 3DS exporter
for MAX2.5, please contact me.
I also forgot to mention that I updated my link to Jörg Gerlach's Jem'Hadar fighter, since he updated it. I haven't seen the new version,
but it should be better than the old one. I'll have a new thumbnail soon, but since I've got about 5 meshes to rework and 20 to convert,
I'm a little short on spare time. Mind that this is NOT the new Jem'Hadar fighter I mentioned earlier (22-11).

I added a new picture to the gallery to entertain you while I'm working on the promised 3DS conversions. Just a little while longer...

And another one! Now a shuttle as seen in Star Trek 5. It's by H. Gibbens, who brought me this model himself.

I also added a new Deep Space Nine, which for now is only in LWO format. I'm working on a conversion. It's one of the best CGI models I've seen out there, don't be mislead by it's small size! Thanks to Jelmer Baas for bringing me this mesh.

I just added two meshes sent to me by David Bishop. He textured the William Burningham meshes (the Negh'Var and the Dominion Battlecruiser). Though they now look different from the original Lightwave objects, they still look great and accurate. Thanks, David.

I added the Travelpod, Regula 1 station and a Drydock. These meshes were brought to me by H. Gibbens.

I added a high detail Ferengi Marauder, which was brought to me by Manuel Esteban. As the author mentions himself, this model isn't that accurate, but rendered from top angles, you can do great pictures with it.

Paul Penkala pointed out to me that I forgot to update the unsorted list. Sorry to those that failed to find the new meshes
because they didn't want to use the selection form. It's been updated right now, just as a link for the mailing list is on the
download page again. I forgot that as well.... doh!

It seems my ftp isn't what it used to be :(. The 'Mike' texture pack is still unavailable for the meshes put up (see below story). I hope to fix this soon. But if you've got the 1701-C and the Defiant from Jörg Gerlach, then you've got all you need.
