I have updated the links on the download page. I don't have the Lightwave or reworked Wolfpack meshes here in the UK, so I had to replace
them with the old PRJ ones. I will contact the Wolfpack about this. I have removed Mike Wright's Defiant, since he's no longer publishing it,
and I've removed the BOP, since it was stolen. Only William Burningham's BOP is now available. I think that about removes all broken links
on the download page. Please mail me if you find one more.

Ok, uploaded a whole bunch of meshes now. I have added the following:

- A Steamrunner mesh by Ziroc

- A Saber class starship by Ziroc

- Updated Akira class starship by Ziroc

- A low-memory Borg Sphere by Ziroc

- Another Akira class by Ian Bremner

- A Nebula class by Ralph Schobert, Trevor Morris and Rob Caves

- 3 new shuttlecraft by Kristof van de Velde, Kenny Mitchell and one by an unknown author.

- A federation Torpedo by Kenny Mitchell

- LWO version of the textured 1701-E

- Updated the 'non-canon' fighter. It's actually a Federation Tactical fighter, by Ian Bremner. Also added a 3DS version.

That should keep you busy for awhile. It's very late now (1am) so I'm going to sleep. I might have made some deep-night mistakes,
so please tell me if you find one.

Also you may have noticed the banner on the left. That's for Simon Jenny, who offered me this webspace, and who offered me space before. This
site is alive mostly thanks to him.

I have added a Borg Sphere of 10mb to the list! It was done by Maxpayn and it is great! Also the Cube has been updated.
A non-canon fighter has also been added. Find them all in the meshes section.

Okay, if I were you, I'd have thought that this page was again dead. But there was a slight delay in the server move for this page, but I think it was worth it!
I'm now, as you probably noticed, on a more ... 'accessible' domain name, one that you can even remember without bookmarking! And my server space is extended, so I can
again upload new meshes, and the good thing is that I can now place my meshes on one server again, so management is easier for me. I don't know if I'll get far this weekend,
since I've got a flying exam on monday (for the interested: A 3.5 hour VFR (visual flight) navigation exercise, including a planned landaway, a diversion to unknown airfield
and a couple of practised emergencies). I've got alot of planning to do for that exam, so I don't know how much spare time I will have. Once I've past the exam, however, I should
have more time available since I will be back to instrument flying which is not done solo, so I'm again dependant on instructor availability. Bad for me, but I hope it's good for the site.

I'd like to thank Simon Jenny for providing me with the domain, and the server space. It's the third time he's helped me out here, and I really appreciate it. He's running an own ISP now,
and I will place an advert banner for his company on this page. It's the least I can do in return for all he's given me. Thanks, Simon!

The server move may cause some unforseen problems, like dead links. Please report anything you notice to me, so I can fix is as soon as possible. Thank you.

Just a post to let you know that I haven't left *again*. I have some meshes waiting but I've run out of server space. However, I'm currently talking to people
who could solve that problem for me. Since every connected minute costs money, I probably won't update untill I've sorted the servers out and sorted all my meshes out. Untill then, hang in!

I've answered all my email last night and was infected by the Happy99 virus. This virus attaches itself to every email as a file called Happy99. DON'T RUN IT if you've got it (through me or no). I cleaned myself now
but I'd like to stop this virus getting around through me. If you've received the happy99.exe file from me and I didn't send you a warning about it about 1 hour later, than please contact me.

I'm sorry about all this, I've just been away from the 'harsh' internet business for too long. The file was sent to me through a trustworthy person around newyear, so it seemed safe enough. NOT.

I updated the meshes page today, I added the Akira mesh by cougar (links to his homepage on the links and download page), and a new Runabout, a new type 9 (Voyager) shuttle,
and logos for the United Federation of Planets and Klingon Empire. Those were done by lVloJoMaN (or however he spells his nick :). In the process I
resorted the meshes page since I absolutely don't have the time or resources to get the mesh searchengine back online. So the meshes page is now devided into different sections
again, with links to every other section at the heads. If this confuses you, go have a look since I don't know how to describe this simple thing simply, simply put. :-)

I'd like to thank both these authors for offering their meshes here, and I have some more coming soon (next week I think, but no promises). I updated the links page
with links to their homepages, please go have a look.

As some people might have noticed I have now placed new banners which will get me some money of someone clicks on it. I know it's cheap, but I really need the money to keep this
page on-line. Every click on those banners will allow me about 2 minutes of on-line time, in which I could update this page :-).

Well, that's 2 months and 2 weeks ago. But here I am, back on a short vacation in the Netherlands. I have just updated the meshes download page.
It appeared that the rating form wasn't working properly, and that the creation form was updated shortly after I left. But since I was gone....
The page wasn't updated and any ratings were lost. So please anyone who thinks this site is worth anything rate it (or re-rate it if you had already done so before) on the meshes page.

I have a couple of meshes waiting to be uploaded but I was so stupid to forget to take my FTP passwords back with me from the UK. So I can't upload them now. If by any chance Simon Jenny or Carlos Cardoso
reads this please send me the password to the ftp so I may update it in this vacation. If not, there is a good chance that I will be able to do so from the UK, since I now have
an 56k6 connection there. But the connection costs aren't cheap (6 pence per minute = $0.10 per minute), I am planning to add banners to this page to get some money back I invest in the site.
I can understand that some of you would oppose this, but please understand that I am doing a very expensive training at the moment, without getting any income to pay for expenses such as these. If any of
you think placing banners is a bad idea, please let me know this weekend.

I have also updated the mail link to my new email adress. Please do not upload very large attachements (larger than 200kb) without asking me first, for the same reason as above; cost.

I (Erik Timmermans) am back for the easter weekend on a short break from my pilot training. Just to prove that I still care about
this site and it's visitors, I am posting this update :)

I have slightly changed this site's mesh download page, to include the explanation of the texture system (since some people did't know where to get the textures if
they downloaded an 'Other format' mesh), and a rating form for Treksites.com. So all those who care about this site, go to the
download page and rate my site with a 10 out of 10! :-) Seriously, I'm curious to see how my site is rated amongst it's visitors. I've arranged for some
help back here in the Netherlands to get the site webboard back, so I can even from the UK answer your questions there, and listen
to your suggestions. No comments on how long this is going to take, though. I hope to get more chances to update this page more regulary soon,
but for now my pilot's training is consuming way too much time (but it's worth every second :)!

I have also updated the links page, because though I think Arjan (the person who posted the news story on 18-03-99) exaggerated saying there were 'quite a few dead links'
on the page, there were two. Those have been removed, and I also removed the 'Member of the 3D Warriors' link since the 3D Warriors no longer
exist. For information about that go to The 3D Warriors page. I checked all the meshes and they should be working again, though the
Wolfpack site seems to be going off- and on-line, and thus so do their meshes.

I thank all visitors that still regulary visit this site (and click the reload button 30 times :), for hanging on, and I hope that visitors
new to this site will find it worth waiting for my return (though there should be enough downloads to last that long even now!).

Please everyone who hasn't, read the two news stories below, to get the full story about my absence.

The owner of this site had to switch providers, since the old one sucked. Therefore this page has also changed URL's.
It's current address is: www.euronet.nl/users/agnim/startrek. It's a bit long, but it's way too expensive to register a domain name.

The only solution: Bookmark this page! (We are also discussing a V3 link, but we don't know exactly which one)

There are currently quite a few dead links on this page, this is because this site hasn't been maintained for a long time. For example, the 3D Warriors seized to exist :-( in that period...

I hope this page will be updated soon, but Erik is still waiting for his mobile phone (which will allow him to connect to the internet).....

*** IMPORTANT ***

Erik Timmermans, the owner of this site, has recently (about 3 weeks ago) moved to England, where he will become an airline pilot. This training will take about a year and a half. He lives there on a university campus, but he isn't able to connect to the internet from there. He is trying to get a connection through a cellular phone, but that will take a while, since the phone companies need a national bank account, and since he is a foreigner...... *sigh*

Since his departure was rather sudden, he had no time to update this page about his absence.

He is very sorry that he can't answer your mail, he would like to thank you all for sending them. As soon as possible he will reply to them, or post a message on this news page to give you some more information about the future of this homepage.

For the time being, the webboard and the mesh-search engine are offline, our apologies for that, we are working on a solution for that here in the Netherlands.

I hope I've given you enough information,

Arjan Zwikker

For questions about this homepage mail me, but I can not answer your questions about 3D rendering.

(P.S. I'm sorry I didn't post this post sooner)

The 3D Warriors site has had an overhaul! Have a look! Tachy (the webmaster) did a great job
on it! I just love it, so please go and see.
