Raul's Meshes of Enterprise Refit, Excelsior and Spacedock

Hi Raul (and EveryOne)
I am getting my Enterprise ready to animate, and with your permission, I would like to also use your meshes of Enterprise refit, Excelsior and Spacedock.
If this is okay with you, could you please supply me with some handy links to download them please.

but the 3ds ,seems a little fragmented ?

Hey Network1!!
That looks super-cool what you've done, but I had the same problem too --- when I opened Max, the file did not display fully in its colours and some of the panels went invisible too... bummer!
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.

This is what I have in mind for the christening animation of her...
...
We see the new Enterprise-A docked in Spacedock (from Star Trek 3).
On the adjoining dock behind her is Grissom in port.
Star Trek 3 shuttle craft are flying about in the bay area...
Enterprise begins to leave dock...
Shots of departure are shown from Spacedock departure lounge and bay control tower...
As Enterprise leaves Bay 1, the main doors of Spacedock open up for her and she proceeds towards exit...
On external view of Spacedock, it is in orbit around Earth, with the moon half peaking over the horizon in the background.
Excelsior and Enterprise Refit are stationed on either side of the main exit doors as they continue opening, to salute the new Enterprise-A farewell...
As the new Enterprise exits Spacedock, Excelsior and Enterprise Refit pivot on axis in line of her departure path as she leaves...
The new Enterprise-A departs Spacedock and we pan to follow her path to see her from behind now and finally going into warp speed.............>>>

It looks like a normal orientation problem, which occurs frequently with foreign format exports.
MAX has an option in rendering options for forcing '2-sided' polygons. Try that, or a similar option to see if it helps.

Try to find a similar option under redering options. Lightwave and trueSpace all had a similar option, so it's probably there. It increases rendering time but that'll be worth it.

Could also be called something like flip normals, or double-sided polygons, ignore polygon orientation, etc.

Just tried the O.B.J and the 3ds seems to have the same missing parts
A shame ,because i would love to have created a mini Movie.

That definitely looks like a normal orientation problem... Very common in conversions, and usually fixed fairly easily using rendering options.... It's a real shame it doesn't seem possible for your software .
