Re: Chamfer tool
Are you in troubles with the native max chamfer? I know it works in a strange way sometimes, but you can manage this if you know a better way for chamfering.
I found an excelent tutorial other day. Gimme a little time, and you post the url. I just need to take a time for finding it in my favorites.

I´m still searching that url (I had it saved, dammit!!!!). In the meantime, maybe it can help you a bit: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/quad-chamfer

No, no tests made by me, but the review for this one http://www.mariussilaghi.com/qchamfer.htm sounds good: http://www.polycount.com/forum/archive/ ... 85550.html
This one looks like a different plugin: http://www.vg2max.spb.ru/EdgeChEx.htm, and it has a demo available.

Re: Chamfer tool
I think quad chamfer is the better one. Unfortunaly all examples are simple figures like squares. I need it to be able to chamfer much more complex shapes. I think i'll try quadchamfer.
Thanks for your thoughts bud.

Re: Chamfer tool
Got it, and although it comes up with better chamfering in most cases it still has some object that can't be chamfered right.
