Type 24 Shuttle
Hey, folks, I think I joined here a long time ago but never really did all that much. Well, hopefully I can remedy that. I'm usually really protective of my meshes and don't let them out into the wild (they're like children to me) but I kinda want to start getting my stuff out there.
Now, I know this one's hardly the best of quality, but I kinda want to start somewhere, and this is it. It's my Type 24 Shuttle. I made it over two years ago and have been using it all the time up until now. I decided to retire her and donate her to the wide world of Star Trek meshes. Hopefully she meets with some approval?
Attached are some images, with more in the dA journal linked below. If anyone's interested in having her, I'd be more than willing to have it uploaded here. If it doesn't meet standards, I understand, just thought I'd throw it out there to see what happens.

Re: Type 24 Shuttle
Hi bud, yeah i had the same thoughts once. But then i figured that there would be no better way to get my models noted then to post them and share them. Sharing a model gives me feedback. Also it is a thrill to seen what beauthifull pictures other people make with your models.
Here every artist is treated with respect. You model will always be your model and sharing it will let more people know what you made. You can include your demands for credit in the file you upload.
ps. that looks like a sweet little shuttle

Hahaha! Oh you guys!
On a serious note, I'd like to share my museum (when it's finished), but the modelling is SOOOO amateur at the moment I don't really wanto release it into the wild. Maybe when my modelling skills get a little better!
But yea, like that shuttle

Okay so...I guess...this is a good way to submit the file itself? Hm.

Re: Type 24 Shuttle
Post it in the new meshes section and on of the moderators will give you instructions on what to include.

Isn't...this...the new meshes section? I tried posting it as an attachment, but it was too big.

You're right, this is the right section
.
I'm a bit slow lately, but I'll send you a quick email about hosting it next week!

It's online!
Re: Type 24 Shuttle
No it's not. None of the usual file types work (as you warned people), giving only an empty .rar file. However, clicking the .obj link just returns a 404 error and that's it.

Thanks for that! The server settings changed (again) to be case sensitive. The link is fixed!
Re: Type 24 Shuttle

Working now, just downloaded it and spent an hour or so converting it and lighting it up. I'll post a link to it when I get a chance, my hard drive died on my PC and I've had to change it out and am doing a total rebuild. Bah!

That is looking very nice bud. Very crisp. Add some glow to it and it's almost photorealistic. Great job.
