*chuckles* There is a max version of it, I'm just making these so that people have more options. I've always found it much easier to texture with Lightwave than 3DSMax, haven't quite gotten around to learning how to model with it.

Well, I think it's high time for an update to this thread, so without furthur ado another Tachy-classic, the Ares.

Enzo kindly provided this to me at my request, but thus far I've no luck. Besides I'm limited to the same situation of converting .max to 3DS/Obj/DXF.

You should try the Nova-class max version. Absolutely hell to convert and the mesh itself is so large it causes my Lightwave to lock up.

Update time, here's a conversion of the Constellation-class featured on the STE website. This one, like the previous one, is in lwo format.

Standard release, basic scene with ship, nothing overly fancy save for the inclusion of a PSD file and a little reworking to the texturing as to allow ...

A little something for you to add to the lists, enzolima.

Thanks to deadcities for sending the mesh over, was a real pain to convert. The file contains a basic scene with two lights and the mesh in question, here's a glimpse of what it ...

*chuckles* If it's all the same to you, I prefer not to post pictures. Call me a little paranoid if you will.

But if you want an avatar, I think I could fork you over my avatar from one of my sims. *chuckles*

More

Seems I had more than I thought, this time we've got ourselves a Romulan, Klingon and a Bajoran ship as well as an interior mesh.

I'm also trying quite hard to have Tachy's Concorde converted to an LWO format, but whenever I try to convert it all of the geometry becomes screwy.

Anyone who can convert the mesh along with it's respective UV map would be helpful, I can retexture and add to it where needed.

Old Star Trek Australia Meshes

Several meshes saved from the days of STA, don't really know whom are the creators, save for Tachy's Concorde. But they might come in handy.
