It's been awhile since I've been around here. Busy busy busy. But a few months ago I started to work on my version of the study model of Kronus 1 used in TUC.

This is just a smattering of a few images so far.

Thanks buddy.

I’ve been looking at the front of the ship for a while now and felt it could use a few more details so I started to work on a few new bits.

Welcome back, it's good to hear from you again!
Busy busy goes for most of us, no problems there :). I can hardly find the time to keep the site working properly, let alone do any modelling of that level!

Looks really good, I like the fine details. It gives the final result a much more realistic appearance, especially in complex lighting. Excellent start!

Thanks.

UPDATE...
Well I think I’m done with the top detail unless I come up with more ideas.
Image
I’m starting to place just a few small details on the bottom.

New month, old ship. Decided to add a little detail to what I am currently calling The Grand Room. Have to come up with something better.

The top of this part of the neck is just about done.

Now I’ve started to add more to the bottom of this part of the neck.

The level of detail is just... fantastic!
And the general style is very consistent throughout. It doesn't make it look either messy or overdone. Really nice work!

Not sure about those Klingons and their green lights though. It looks cold in there, I guess blood wine is there to heat things up!

The green lights are temp I'll probably change them to red but it really depends on what I do to the textures outside the ship.
UPDATE...
Well. I think the neck is done, for now.
Image
So I started to work on this part under the ship.

UPDATE...
I consider this part on the bottom the ship done. I left some of it open so I can add the klingon logo.
Image
I also decided to add some detail to the bottom of the impulse engine.

Wow... the detail is amazing, and assuming you're not working on it 24/7, the speed that you're working is just as amazing!

I love the close-up shots even now, can't wait to see the final result!

Thanks. I don't work 24/7 but it's pretty damn close sometimes.

I added more detail to the aft photon launcher.
Image
I also decided to add more detail to the trenches on the wings.

Got a little more done before the end of the month. I’ve been itching to start work on the main hull.
