Are sincere words of how I see and feel when I think and walk here at STMC.
The Waverider: I created a generous replicator in the kitchen, a bed and cabinets in the Captain's room. The sonic shower is already positioned. This week I will model the basic parts of the washbasin + "toilet"...

Thank you, mister Starship.
We are undertaking great efforts,
analyzing the front, coming from the middle and looking from behind
But the game is still in progress, our objective is score a goal at least.
Let's see what this is going.

Were you still planning to use this?

In the course of all this, Xtranormal went out of business. I released an "abandonware" version of the software with my enhancements and a flood of refugees joined my forum at
StatePlus.net to install it.
A few months ago I was contacted by Xtranormal's liquidator who is (by coincidence) also in the Boston area. We struck a truce and I packaged this up as best I could in order to facilitate the sale.
I am now bound by a nondisclosure agreement the precludes me from going into any detail on what the current status of the liquidation is.
So this just became much bigger than me trying to produce Fem Trekz, although I'd like to still find a way to do it eventually. (And who knows where this might go if I start networking with TV industry people.)
If and when I have more info, I'll let you know.
For the time being, I'm looking at this solely as your project which you would want to finish for your own personal satisfaction and not something you're building specifically for me. If you want to tailor it to what you think I'd want, great, but if you don't, that's fine too. Take it wherever you want to go.
The same would go with the Earhart. I'm just not as protective of it anymore. If you still like the idea of doing the USS Earthart, the whole idea of a TMP-style design with the mud-flaps, the shuttle bay, etc..., then just go all the way with it completely on your own.

As for me, and this ongoing project, I intend to continue to provide an acceptable finish.
I still have in mind the ease of modeling Earhart.
I would not put "personal satisfaction" in this story, but all this needs to get somewhere.
I know that this project was in the direction of independence. But...
The evolution of things here ...
It's so disgusting?

I will follow along to see if you finish the Earhart, and if you do...
When I first started, crowdfunding wasn't as big as it is now, and I was reluctant to ask for donations because of it looking like profiting off of Star Trek. But it seems like all Trek fan film productions are being
successfully kickstarted these days, and CBS/Paramount doesn't seem to mind. And if I can produce just ONE scene with the fullblown CG effects, like maybe Bakshi being introduced to it, then I will run a kickstarter page and see if I can raise enough money to be able to pay for enough help to do the rest of what's needed. I am still friends with Joel who would probably score that scene for me if I asked.
The volume of work required to complete this project is too much for any one volunteer to handle. I need lots of sets and lots of FX shots. It's only the character animation that can be done quickly. Other than that it would be like producing an episode of Phase 2 or Star Trek Continues.

Hello folks!
In this update, the highlights are the addition of standard thrusters and hull details.

The bottom of the hull, a large heat shield will come to have a very similar appearance to the Space Shuttle.
A flat surface with few details.

At least, this is my wish...
Naturally, much remains to be done.

The detail and creativity on this mesh are amazing! It's also been very cool to see it being developed from a concept to a finely detailed model

Thank you, Erik!
Old days, the concept would not go beyond the concept.
Thanks to the improvement of technology, the concept and the art can be raised to a much higher level.
Well, I spent a bit difficult here.
I determined to apply the extrude edges in a single stroke.
I cut the lines, cleaned the extra vertexes resulting from the boolean operation, I selected the edges and here is the result:
That's it, folks!
