Unusualsuspex, when I saw these pictures:

I said to myself:
Each solar system should have a museum in orbit. It is a very elegant orbital station. An Unusual  beauty.

It is a perfect blend of TOS age, Movie era and the TV series in the twenty-fourth century style.
What are you waiting for?

I really hate to ask for help, but...
I managed to get the Museum mesh into 3ds format, after a long road of trial and error, but because of the way I had to do it I lost all the uv mapping. I use Anim8or for such tasks, but I can't figure out how some of these textures are supposed to fit or how they are supposed to be mapped.
Could someone give me a hand?
I really love this mess and would love to put in Celestia (3D space sim)

Thank you very much,
Tim

Raul, are you still in the need for this? Only today I´m reading your previous post. If interested, I can provide you that, or a fbx instead. ;)

I know it's my model but I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue about converting it etc. I'm still a newbie to all this and so far have only produced a couple of models.

I'll help if I can though! :)

I have it converted, that was the hard part LOL
But with my "small" budget, the only 3D program I have is Anim8or and it's not the greatest at uv mapping.
It would be a "hugh" favor if I could send you the converted model and have you apply the textures to her. I took all your screnn shots and tried to go by them, but Anim8or doesn't uv map worth a darn. Especially with multiple parts using the same texture within the same layer. ie-"island texture.jpg".

Thank you for the offer and thank you for a great model.
