Nice design concept. The Castella-class has a very classic late-23rd-century Federation aesthetic while still feeling distinct from the Constitution and Excelsior styles. The dimensions and warp capabilities make it believable as a medium cruiser operating during the transition period between the movie-era fleet and early TNG-era ships. I also like the balanced weapons layout — enough firepower for patrol and escort duties without making it feel overpowered. The service span from 2292 to 2370 gives plenty of room for interesting lore, refits, and mission history. Looking forward to seeing more renders or background details about the class.
