Yea, I can't wait to see you tackle the bussard collectors... they have the be the hardest thing to do on the TOS Enterprise...

To tell the truth, I do not know how I will recreate the effect of bussards collectors

.
But before I think about it, I'm concluding part of the modeling of the Shuttle Bay.
Please see the gallery.

maybe this can help :

But after doing some tests with real geometry and lights i think the best way would be to make an animated texture.

Hey, the old lady is looking perfect Raul! When you´ll be building a non canon ship created by you?

About how to do the bussards, look at this tut (click the bussards button):
http://www.madfishway.rr.nu/
It isn´t the TOS effect properlly, but can give you new ideas.

Hi, Chainsaw and Starship!
Both suggestions have led me to two possible solutions.
Create small geometries and arrange them in circular form with colored glow.
Or create a graphics solution like the Madfish.
Anyway, this issue will require much study.

I have a few designs, a new Oberth, a Starfleet heavy cargo ...
Within a few months I might start something.
Maybe.

Between the 4th and 5th of this month (August), the data drive where I keep my files was mistakenly formatted, and the Max files, jpg, tif and many others have been deleted.
But the losses were minimal, or nearly zero.
I installed - in my opinion - the best data recovery software :
EASEUS Data Recovery (an old free version).
This program lets you enter the file extension to be recovered.
obj, 3ds, flv, dbk, max, BR7, etc..
Another detail that should be highlighted:
The entire structure of folders and subfolders was brought back.
I'm still setting things up here. Soon this dock will return to work at full power.

Easeus is indeed an excellent software.
A few years ago I did a mistake like you, and Easeaus saved my day!

Well, things here are returning to normal. The last update was about the Shuttlebay.
Now, I bring images of the shuttlecraft in progress.

Amazing, Raul!
I do think your models are on par with Tobias Richter of The Light Works models...
Also, how do you get geometry to blend together like the underside of the wings on the shuttle?
